Jyoti Foundation is a charitable public trust is currently engaged in the promotion of education and research in the country. JF is recognised as Scientific& Industrial Reasearch Organisation(SIRO)by the Minister of Science& Techonolgy, Govt. of India and also as a non-profit charitable organisation by Income Tax Department under section 12(A). The foundation is headed by Prof. J.D. Agarwal, a well known economist and finance expert, as Chairman. Jyoti Foundation has founded Indian Institute of Finance in 1987 a premier management institute known internationally for its education, research and consultancy in the area of Finance. IIF has linkages with more than 100 leading professionals from India & abroad including Nobel Laurates & from Institutions like London School of Economics, London Business School, Harvard University, MIT, Wharton School, University of Chicago, IIT's & IIMs. IIF has signed MOUs with many Universities/Institutes abroad,and has developed linkages with trade & industry associations like FICCI, CII, PHDCCI, ASSOCHAM and over 200 industrial units, Banks, Financial Institutions, World Bank, ADB.
